A sense of accomplishment

When I create and code things, I very often do so mainly for the purpose of using those things myself, without giving (for better or worse) a lot of thought whether other people will like or find use in whatever it is I'm creating.

So when I see other people use the things that I create, or when I come across other people's projects that used parts of mine as inspiration for their own, I realized I feel an immense sense of accomplishment.

The thing is, I never thought of myself as being particularly skilled (especially writing code) that I can create something worthy of use by others, or even worthy altogether, but having recently delved into stoic principles and seeing how other people find use or inspiration in my projects, it really helped boost my self-esteem.
